App privacy: Gather

Gather’s dedicated privacy policy explains connected Gmail and other email access, on-device processing, private iCloud synchronization, Calendar and Reminders integrations, retention, deletion and Google Limited Use protections. That policy controls for Gather where these general website provisions differ. Connecting email to Gather does not subscribe you to marketing. Gmail data is not used for advertising or marketing and is not sold or used to train a generalized AI model.

App privacy: Fort Irwin Special Events

This section describes information used by the Fort Irwin Special Events app and its connected event services at fortirwin.events. Processing depends on the features you use and your attendee, vendor, volunteer or staff role. These event records are handled separately from Gather’s connected-email features.

Events, tickets and check-in

Public event information is provided through the event service. When you retrieve your tickets, the service processes your email address, verification code and authentication session to locate tickets associated with that address. Ticket records can include attendee name and email, event and ticket identifiers, ticket status, secure QR/check-in information and check-in time. Authorized event staff use relevant records to validate admission and record attendance. Treat ticket QR codes and access links as private.

Vendor, volunteer and staff features

Where enabled, role-based features process verification or account information, event assignments, vendor business information, volunteer or staff names, booth and operational details, help requests, messages and replies. Relevant information is available to authorized personnel coordinating the event, resolving requests or performing check-in. Authentication and abuse-prevention measures may process IP addresses, request activity and session identifiers.

Notifications and wallet passes

If you enable supported push notifications, the service processes a device push token and associated staff/event information to deliver relevant alerts through Apple Push Notification service. Notifications may contain event or operational details. Manage notification permission and visibility in your device settings. If you choose a wallet-pass feature, the selected wallet provider processes the pass and ticket information needed for that feature under its own privacy practices.

Storage, sharing and your controls

Event, ticket and operations information is processed and stored by the connected Fort Irwin event service. Hosting, email-delivery and notification providers may process information needed for those functions. Authorized event personnel may access relevant records for event administration. Websites and third-party services opened from the app may have additional privacy notices.

Signing out, removing the app or turning off notifications does not itself delete event registrations, issued tickets, check-in records or operations messages held by the event service. For access, correction, deletion or retention questions about event records, contact the event organizer through the event website. Requests may require identity verification and coordination with the record holder. Contact Wilson Designs through our website for app-related privacy questions. Do not send passwords, verification codes or ticket access keys in support requests.

The Gather Google-data policy applies to Gather’s connected Gmail functionality. Fort Irwin event records are not automatically imported into Gather merely because both apps are described on this page.
